Our skin is the natural barrier protecting us from the effects of the sun’s rays, pollution and hazards which are part of everyday life.
What we forget is that this natural barrier, our skin naturally absorbs around 60% of the products which we apply to it. It’s becoming apparent that natural is just better than manufactured when it comes to our skin.
History tells us that the beautiful Egyptian queen Cleopatra knew the benefits of bathing in milk and bathed daily in it to maintain her glowing complexion. Clearly we need to go back to basics and revisit what our ancestors seemed to already understand. Natural is best.
ABOUT SHEEPISHLY EWE
After doing a lot of research on the benefits of different essential oils and carrier oils I have put together recipes suitable for all different skin types.
I also make hair shampoo/conditioner bars which include eggs from my own flock of hens, and a range of shampoos specifically for dogs.
I wanted to create a range of products free from the harsh chemicals used in the mass produced soaps and cleansers available in supermarkets.
Having the option to design my own products has given me the chance to develop a sustainable product that uses minimal packaging and is kind to the environment.
My product is cruelty free.
I don’t remove lambs from their mothers until the mothers are ready to wean them.
